Geai des chênes

Le Geai des chênes est reconnaissable à son plumage coloré, rayé de noir et blanc sur la tête, dont les plumes peuvent se dresser (huppe érectile). Son bec est prolongé par une bande noire sous l'œil qui donne l'impression qu'il porte des sortes de moustaches noires.

Son corps est brun rosé sur le dessus et brun plus clair sur le dessous, sa queue est noire, son croupion et son bas-ventre blanc, ses rémiges primaires des ailes sont bleu vif et noir.
